Germany- POSTAER SANDSTEIN -mE- is a mid-grained, pebbley bound Elbsandstone from a yellowish-brown to a partially gray colour. Dark brown ironhydroxide concretions or light gray cavernous inclusions are characteristic of this material.
It frequently displays a zonate structure between yellow-grays and brown layers which, consequently, gives the material a lively appearance.
Special Aptitude:
Steps and floor surfaces in exterior areas, plinth masonry work, as well as support, shore or enscarpment stones.
